KUNMING AIRLINES BUSINESS LOUNGE, DOMESTIC DEPARTURE 

This is one of the earliest project which DAP have designed in Kunming. This project was a collaboration between us and our associate Top Design Studio in Kunming. The challenging aspect of this project was the space zoning as there were 3 different location for the lounge. Also the existing height is low. To counter the height constraint, on the contrary we introduced more but subdued ceiling design elements as such attention would be on the ceiling design but not the height. The layout plans have eventually changed to major extent compared to the ones we submitted at the design proposal stage; these includes resting corners, VIP rooms and different functions for the respective two halls. The information center remains. Overall, it was a good project and publicity for us for both companies.
